Kevin
Kevin, a young entrepreneur and student, wrote an essay about his
life and the hot teen Web site he founded. Unfortunately, the costs
of running a site have side-tracked the effort temporarily but we
have no doubt that Kevin, the CEO, will find a way to bring his
creation back to life. |

"Teen Entertainment....What is it? Entertainment can be anything
you want it to be. It could be what ever makes you feel yourself
and relaxed. It could be your favorite book, CD, or television show.
To me entertainment is my photography, my website, and my life.
My life is my anti-drug.
It all began during the summer of '98 when I decided to turn my
personal homepage into a teen based website. It was not easy, and
was very tiring. There were times when I wanted to just give up
because it was too time consuming, and other times it just did not
seem like anyone was interested. I did not give up that easy. I
continued to update the site once a week and work on the layout
and design to make the site more interesting for teens. One day
I received an e-mail from my server that said I should consider
updating because my site was one of the fastest growing teen sites
on the east coast. That is when it all came together.
From that time on my site was known as KJF2000. The site took a
little while to gain popularity on the Web, but the time was worth it.
The site had an online store, chat rooms, monthly horoscopes, journalism
links, magazine subscriptions, entertainment page, headline news, sports
write ups, polls, photo gallery, and the fashion page.
For those of you who haven't heard, your Anti-Drug is something
that you do or are involved in that stands between you and doing
drugs. My Anti-Drug is my life. Living my life to fullest is my
ultimate goal, and nothing will get in the way. My life keeps me
going and makes me see there is so much out there fore me. I won't
let drugs get in the way."
